About me

Sandra Saenz is a makeup artist and creative director redefining beauty as a medium for connection and storytelling. With over a decade of experience, she brings artistry and intention to every project, using makeup to elevate individuality while fostering authentic human connection. Her work transcends aesthetics, inviting others to embrace the raw, vulnerable beauty of being unapologetically themselves.

As the first Mexican hijabi makeup artist represented by a U.S. agency, Sandra has built a career on defying stereotypes and creating space where none existed. Her collaborations include the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, where she explored beauty in the Islamic world, and the Shangri La Museum of Islamic Art, Culture & Design in Hawaii, where her residency culminated in 11:11 (Beautiful Patience)—a series reflecting her journey of faith, identity, and creativity.
Sandra’s mission is simple yet profound: to connect people through the universal language of beauty. Her talent extends beyond technical skill, sparking dialogue, challenging perceptions, and encouraging others to see themselves and each other in new ways. Through her craft, she elevates beauty to a space of vulnerability and meaning, proving that makeup is more than artistry—it’s a bridge to empathy, understanding, and human connection, as much about self-expression as it is about fostering meaningful conversations.
